Instrument Condition & Description

This is a used flamenco model 1018 by Antonio Sánchez, a well-known brand from Valencia, Spain.

The instrument shows some surface wear and small scratches throughout, all consistent with normal use. None of these significantly detract from its overall appearance.

The neck features a D-shaped profile, slightly thinner than standard, offering a comfortable and fast feel. There is a very slight forward relief, which falls within normal setup parameters and results in excellent playability. Fret wear is minimal. With approximately 2 mm of remaining saddle height, further string action adjustment is possible if desired.

In terms of sound and response, the guitar delivers a light, quick, and springy attack, especially noticeable in the right hand. During rasgueado, the bass strings produce a pleasing sense of weight and depth. The instrument responds evenly across all positions and reacts well to a wide variety of right-hand techniques.

Thanks to its balanced response and versatility, this guitar is suitable not only for flamenco but also for many other musical styles.
