Masahiko Nakamura Model MN-III, Made in 2001, Used, No.30637

This is a newly arrived used instrument: the Model MN-III, made in 2001 by Masahiko Nakamura. At the time, Mr. Nakamura was a luthier at Asturias Guitars, and this guitar was created as a signature model for the brand. It features all-solid construction with a spruce top and Indian rosewood back and sides, and is considered one of the higher-end models among his works.

The sound offers a pleasant responsiveness and a solid volume that the player can physically feel. The tone is bright, expressive, and has a distinct character.

There are no major repair histories such as cracks, but the top shows signs of use including dents, playing marks, string wear below the bridge, and a long horizontal scratch about 20–30 cm near the bottom. The back and sides show signs of rubbing from clothing during playing and some minor clouding of the finish. However, these are consistent with its age and do not significantly detract from its overall appearance.

The neck has a slight forward bow, but it is within standard setup parameters. The frets remain in good condition. On the back of the neck, there are two scratches about 3 cm long at the 2nd and 5th fret positions.
