Profile
Marcelino Lopez Nieto (Llorente) began his career as a fine furniture maker and studied guitar with Daniel Fortea, but after seeing Fortea's Torres, Santos and other guitars, he decided to become a guitar maker. In the early 1970s, he was asked by Hernandez and Aguado to make some of their instruments, which is well known.

Description
This is a rare instrument, a replica made from a Julián Llorente owned by Marcelino López, a guitar maker who laid the foundations for the Madrid School of guitars, which included Vicente Arias and Manuel Ramírez.

This guitar is small and has wooden pegs like the 19th century guitars, but it has an elegant and sweet tone, and it is an attractive piece of work that pays close attention to the colorful tones that were demanded with the rise of folk tastings. The original Shellac is in beautiful condition with only a few scratches.
